Cult of Wonder is a living field for creativity, wonder, and authentic expression.

A space devoted to making, to beauty, and to remembering that creativity is not a luxury, but an essential human force.

In a world that constantly pulls our attention outward toward speed, noise, and endless consumption, this project exists as an invitation back into relationship: with ourselves, with the Earth, with materials, imagination, and each other.

Here, making becomes medicine. Not because everything created must be perfect or professional, but because the act of creating shifts us from passive consumption into participation. Into presence. Into dialogue with life itself.

Cult of Wonder gathers stories, voices, practices, and people who are devoted to this way of living and creating — artists, craftspeople, musicians, wisdom keepers, seekers, misfits, and those who feel the quiet longing for a more imaginative life.

This is a space for experimentation, creative courage, and beginning before feeling ready. A space that honours both beauty and imperfection.

At its heart, Cult of Wonder explores what happens when we dare to create from essence rather than performance. When we allow ourselves to be shaped by slowness, materials, song, ritual, conversation, and community.

My name is Alexandra Ellen Hansen. I founded Cult of Wonder in 2026, out of a deep longing for more creativity, joy, authentic expression and connection.

My own path into this work has been deeply unexpected. For many years, I lived almost entirely in the world of the mind, in academia, human rights law and philosophy. After leaving that path, I moved into healing and energy work searching for a more embodied way of living. Over time, I realised that insight alone was not enough. Healing also asks to be lived. Created. Shared. Brought into the material world through our hands, voices, and choices.

Cult of Wonder emerged from that threshold. From the experience of moving from the mind, into the spiritual, and finally back into making and joy.

This project is also an initiation for me, a courageous act of allowing myself to be seen beyond old identities and expectations. Of creating before feeling fully ready.

I know what it feels like to feel creatively blocked. To hesitate. To fear imperfection while deeply longing to express.

This is why Cult of Wonder exists: to create spaces where people remember that they are allowed to create. Allowed to experiment. Allowed to take up space before everything feels polished or complete.

Because every act of authentic expression quietly gives others permission to do the same.

IF YOU FEEL A RESONANCE WITH THIS FIELD, YOU’RE WARMLY INVITED TO REACH OUT.

Whether you would like to contribute, share a project, suggest someone whose work feels aligned, or simply connect — this space grows through participation.
